It is indeed laughable but seriously insulting when the obligations of Islam are taught to (and accepted by) Muslims by Unbelievers who openly demonstrate their disdain and hatred for the Deen. If you trust the mainstream media, every violent incident that happens in the world today can be attributed to either a Muslim or linked to Islam in some way. The media goes to extreme lengths to publisize any and all disparaging incidents about Muslims or Arabs that it can find for the "enlightenment" of its Western public. Even blatant incidents of corrupt Western activity in Muslim lands are reinterpreted as being "Islamic" disruptions to the "perfect" system of Western "democracy". And Muslims are apologizing for their struggle for freedom from oppression by Western powers. Even Muslims undergoing the active forces of oppression in Muslim lands right now.
After every publicized "terrorist" event, "good Muslims" rush to placate the Unbelievers with ready condemnations of "misguided Muslim terrorists" or would-be terrorists. This is done even before any charges have been proven or all the facts of the matter revealed. As a result, Western governments everywhere no longer feel obligated to provide undeniable evidence to support any charges made against any dissidents in the society. It now sufficiently grave enough to label anyone a "possible" Muslim supporter to enable "security forces" to arrest or restrict your freedom. Blatant miscarriages of justice are happening everyday in countries proclaiming themselves bastions of human rights. Law-abiding citizens are being arrested without charge and confined to prison without even knowing what crime they have committed. Even worse, they are not being allowed legal representation because their supposed crimes are so heinous that divulging the evidence will adversely affect "national security". Muslims are seeking justice from courts that are predisposed to find them guilty of "crimes" just because they have been arrested on the flimsiest suspicion and are Muslim.
Western countries today are conducting their share of pogroms against Muslims. Any anti-Muslim activities can be conducted at this time with the support of all Western countries because it is considered "protective" of western "democracy". All western governments today applaud or openly condone the destructive activities happening in the Middle East and everywhere Muslims are being oppressed. Attacking Muslims and Muslim organizations within Western societies is now prevalent and being encouraged by the Western media. It is being viewed almost as a sign of patriotism to hinder Muslim life wherever it is found in the West today. And deluded Muslim apologetics believe that their pandering apologies will appease those bent on total destruction of Islam. The Quran has already outlined the mood of destructive Unbelievers everywhere. "Rank hatred has already come from their mouths. What their hearts conceal is even worse". Muslims will do well to understand what is happening now and what they are up against.
